Buying a property in Ireland

Last week, following an excellent talk about the Irish property market given by Ronan Lyons, Chief Economist with Daft.ie, I had the opportunity to talk to a number of Googlers (Google employees) at their fantastic HQ in Dublin about what is involved when buying a property in Ireland. The majority of Google’s employees in Ireland are from other countries, so it was interesting to hear what their queries were about buying here, at a time when the price of property, particularly in Dublin, is on the rise again.

If you would like to receive our brief guide to the legal steps that are involved when buying a property in Ireland, or advice about any aspect of conveyancing, please contact me on bernadette@parte.ie or 01-660 8353.
